Besides competing in Fantasy Football, NAFL Owners have the option of competing in some contests to enhance the enjoyment of the game and create some rivalries.
West Coast Cup
The NAFL West Coast owners have put together some money and have bought the “West Coast Cup”. Which is a trophy, “looks like the Stanley Cup”, that is awarded to the best west coast team at the end of the year. The competition began in 2005 with the first winner being Derrick Martin of the Martin’s Knights and ever since the Trophy has been awarded with the winner drinking his win from the cup.

NAFL Post-Season Pool
Every Post-Season the NAFL holds an NFL Post-Season Pool where individuals select the best players that will perform during the NFL Post-Season. Each individual completes a roster or team of those players that they believe will score the most points during the season. The individual with the most points wins the entire pot from everyone that has entered. Entry fee is $10 per form.
The “Bird Bowl”
Owner Jim Cox and the Golden Eagles sponsor the “Bird Bowl”. During weeks 11 through 13 teams NAFL teams compete against each other in the famed Bird Bowl. During weeks 11 & 12 the combined scores of NAFL games are calculated. The two teams with the highest “combined” score for the two weeks will compete against each other in the “Bird Bowl”. The “Bird Bowl” is held during Week 13 with the scores taken from the NAFL game that week. The team with the higher score in week 13 wins the “Bird Bowl” Trophy and $20 that is put up by Owner Jim Cox. Teams are automatically entered into the contest.
